As a new community foundation,
the St. Croix Valley Community Foundation has
limited grant-making funds available. However,
through donor advised and designated funds,
the Foundation awards several hundred thousand
dollars in grants each year.
To help link donor interests with funding needs,
we have instituted a program where proposals
that receive a favorable rating by the Grants
and Programs Committee of the Board of Directors
are summarized and mailed on a quarterly
basis to interested donor advisors. This
is the procedure that we will follow whenever
a proposal is submitted to us.
If your organization is a qualified 501c3 nonprofit
under Federal guidelines, and would like to
be included in this program, please submit your
requests for funds to our office.
A formal grant application is not necessary.
A letter of intent describing your request is
sufficient.
